Of Might and Magic - Western Lands

Siah saw the Necromancer flying through the air as he received a jolt of his own lightning. He smiled.
The rest of the skeletons were hurled fifty feet into the air themselves and came crashing to the ground in useless heaps of bones.

The Necromancer looked livid.

Josh smirked, putting his sword back in his hilt.

Siah flew towards the Necromancer grabbing him around the neck. He looked into the old man's eyes and forced dark energy into him wracking his body with pain.

The old man screamed in agony. "Serve me!" Was Siah's command.

The old man nodded in fear.

"Where is the Haven Lord, King Zain Zalon?" Siah stared hard at the magus. He shook his head fear covering his features.

Josh aimed an arrow using his bow at Siah. "Let him go."

Siah ignored the Ookami, the old man's lips turned purple. Siah forced another bolt of dark enegry through the feeble body.

The Necromancer screamed again. "He'll kill us all! He's outlawed Necromancy and will kill me!"

"I'll kill you, fool! Where is Zalon?!?" Siah's voice was deathly quiet. He was close! He could taste the victiry already.

Josh stamped his foot as a tree grew beneath the necromancer, getting him away from Siah, while Josh let the arrow loose.

The arrow stopped in mid air behind Siah and fell to the ground.
Siah turned to face the Ookami. Flames turning the sand to glass beneath him as Siah's fury grew. "I only hope that you die fast enough for me to prevent the Necromancer's escape!" Flames engulfed Siah's sword.

The sandy area around them slowly turned to a grassy plain as vines shot out of the ground below Josh, and he unsheathed his sword. "I've had enough of this!" he growled.

Siah shot giant flames at the Ookami. He levitated nine feet in the air now, keeping his demonic senses on the Necromancer in the tree.

Flames scorched the plants attempting to grow in the desert.

The lush greenery just kept growing as Josh jumped out of the way, dodging the fire. He crouched down onto all fours as the vines shot at Siah, attempting to bind him.

A firestorm engulfed Siah, the vines were reduced to ashes. Siah unleashed a wall of flame and sent it at the Ookami followed by fireballs swishing back an forth.

He watched the Ookami move, trying to calculate his next move.

Josh went down onto his knees and placed his hands on the ground as a barrier of trees rose to block the fire.

The trees were ripped into the air. They were now flaming torches, Siah sent them hurtling towards the Ookami. The fireballs moving with increased speed honed in on the Ookami.

He sensed the Necromancer moving about.

Josh controlled the trees, making them crash to the ground in front of him. He leaped onto the tree with the necromancer, the tree growing to an enormous height of 50 feet high. "Look, you gotta get out of here."

Siah struck the tree with his sword, embedding it up to the hilt. The tree burst into flame.
Siah levitated into the air to the top of the tree it was now flaming.

He watched the flames race towards the Ookami and the necromancer.

Josh increased the greenery on the tree, limiting the fires power as green doesn't burn so well. Josh flicks out his hand sending five daggers at Siah, while manipulating the bark of the tree as an orb shape formed around him and the necromancer. They went through the tree, down to the bottom and into the ground, where they were safe. From there they could get out of there.

The daggers stopped and hung in the air before falling to the ground. The massive tree was ripped far into the sky one hundred feet up!

Siah was still fifty feet up himself. His fury was now apparent. The sky grew dark and the sun was eclipsed. As Siah closed his eyes he lifted his hands into the air above him... the darkest energies filtered into the Corporeal Realm.

((You never said you lifted the tree out of the ground, we're now escaping underground =D))

Siah looked about the ground as the smoke cleared... he could not see the two victims!

He looked up at the giant tree floating above him. He joined his hands at the wrists and an intense bolt of pure hatred shot out towards the tree.

The tree was torn to pieces by the energy. Siah sensed for life... there was none. Embers and sawdust fell to the ground.

Josh turned the sand in front of him under ground into soil, manipulating it out of the way as he and the necromancer escaped.

Siah landed calmly on the glass still warm from being melted by the flames. Black lightning crackled from him and flames burst from the joints in his armour as an intense darkness could be felt in the air.

Now the energy would take too long to dissipate, he couldn't enter the city like this! "That Ookami was sealing his own fate assisting the necromancer. Why? What woudl cause a being of neutral or lawful alignment assist an animator?" Siah walked behind some dunes and sat down as the sun shone again.

A few minutes later the black lightning subided and Siah had no more evidence of his Demonic outburst. He sat and stared at the sun... This would take all his skill to track in a city of people. He rested body and concerntrated his mind, focussing on his senses, searching and feeling the lives near the city gates.

He got up to walk along the road.

Euthelis treaded carefully along the dusty road. He had seen a peculiar sight in the distance, which was very uncommon in the desert. There had been flames and trees, just like the ones from Enthracia, sprouting out of the ground as the fire engulfed them. The battle had since then subsided, but he was curious as to what had been the cause. He came up to a cactus and pulled out his carving knife. He sliced of a limb of the small desert plant and sucked the juices out of it.

"Hmmm, wards!" Siah sensed the anti-magick wards around the walls and gates of the City. He was a way off yet, but needed to think fast before he came too close and was detected.

Explainations would end unpleasantly for the city's inhabitants so he couldn't... maybe he could!
Maybe death and genocide were what was needed to unearth the immortal Zain Zalon?

Siah stopped walking, he sensed about two platoons of soldiers near the gate. Eighty men was no small battle and he had no idea how many were battle-mages and warlocks. "This will take a little more planning."
